ID : 6715
« back to classes page
This class will be a mix of discussion and hands-on exercises in handling depth and “proper” perspective in your drawings. We will cover the psychology of perception, different types of perspective, cultural differences in art, and other pertinent topics. Students will provide their own materials, which should include a pad of drawing paper, preferably 11x14 or larger; drawing tools of your choice, such as pencils, charcoal, or Conté crayons; rulers; and erasers. If you have a yardstick or meter stick, it will help in our exercises on establishing vanishing points, but it is not required.
