Alaska Invasive Species Workshop

The Alaska Committee for Noxious and Invasive Pest Management organize an invasive species workshop held annually in the late fall. The workshop rotates between locations in Anchorage, Fairbanks and various rural communities. The workshop is a forum for discussing invasive species management activities within the state, offers expert presentations about emerging invasive species science and management issues, and training for new and experienced invasive species managers alike. The workshop typically draws 100 to 150 participants.

The 2018 conference and workshop is November 13-15 in the City of Homer at the Land's End ResortTheme: Surf and Turf: Invasive Species Above and Below the Tideline.
